To minimize the time needed for proposals and to develop efficient logistics from the very start of our business relationship, we ask you to provide the following information and documents with each of your new requests for estimates :
- A complete BOM with descriptions of the parts, their locations on the circuit, the manufacturer’s reference and the corresponding serial number, and substitutes, with a description equivalent to that of the preferred component.
- Gerber files, with 2 marked reference points, CAD and prefer-red sources for procurement of the PCBs, if you have any.
- All mechanical drawings related to the integration, even if partial, of your products.
- All references and complete descriptions for the labels, if any.
- Complete test and programming files.
- Your best estimate of annual volume and of the number and frequency of halts in production.
- ROHS or not ROHS
- The currency in which you would like us to prepare our pro-posal.
- Your contractual requirements, if any, for warranties, after-sales service and the standards that we shall have to follow (IPC class 3, ITAR, QS9000, etc.)
